Tracy began taking piano lessons at the age of five, eventually studying with Nancy Weber of Fairfield. In 2005 she graduated from New York University, where she studied piano performance and pedagogy with her current mentor, Dr. Kathleen Riley. In 2009 Tracy graduated with a degree in classical piano from Western Connecticut State University. There she studied piano with Dr. Russell Hirshfield, organ with Stephen Roberts, and composition with Dr. Kevin Isaacs. In 2010 she was certified by the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) as a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM).
Tracy has been teaching piano in Fairfield for eleven years and opened her current studio in 2007. She is actively involved with the Connecticut chapter of the MTNA and the Schubert Club of Fairfield County. Tracy is the co-chairperson of the Schubert Club's annual Young Musicians Festival, a non-competitive performance event that draws over 1000 music students from across Connecticut and surrounding areas.
An active performer, Tracy gives recitals in Connecticut and New York City. She frequently plays for weddings and private parties, in addition to accompanying choruses and theater productions. Tracy is the Director of Music at the Parish of Christ's Church in Easton, where she has served since 2007.
